Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CuraLink platform operated by [YOUR LEGAL ENTITY NAME, LDA] ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using CuraLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our platform.

The platform

CuraLink is a charitable gifting platform that allows users to purchase products that are delivered directly to charitable institutions and non-profit organisations in Portugal. CuraLink acts as an intermediary between donors and recipient institutions — our team handles product sourcing and delivery logistics. We do not operate the recipient institutions and are not responsible for their activities.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Donations

When you purchase products through CuraLink, you are making an in-kind donation — products are purchased and delivered directly to the institution you choose. CuraLink does not guarantee delivery if circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent it. In such cases we will make reasonable efforts to redirect your donation to a comparable institution or issue a refund.

Payments

Stripe

All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By making a payment you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service (stripe.com/legal). CuraLink does not store your payment card details. All transactions are processed in EUR.

Platform contribution

You may optionally add a platform contribution (0–5%) to support the operation of CuraLink. This amount is clearly displayed before payment and is non-refundable once processed.

Refunds

Due to the nature of in-kind donations, refunds are only available if the order cannot be fulfilled and has not yet been dispatched. Contact us at hello@cura.pt within 24 hours of placing your order.

Fulfilment

After a successful payment, the CuraLink team processes and dispatches your order to the recipient institution's address. Delivery is made only to institutional addresses within Portugal — we do not deliver to private addresses. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith but may vary due to factors outside our control.

Liability

• CuraLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount paid in the transaction giving rise to the claim.
• We are not responsible for the actions or omissions of recipient institutions.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of CuraLink after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
